Elevated
Review by FourFourDigital.com - Jake Malbasa It doesn't take an industry veteran to tell you, that record labels need a debut release that blows up more speakers than a bombing at the House of Commons. The team at Elevation Audio certainly didn't need telling as their label takes flight with Dan Thompson's latest banger, Elevated. The Portsmouth based producer is back with a different sound to that earned his last track, Bipolar, a play on A State Of Trance 567 last year. The driving bass is gone, replaced by a subtler, slower building bassline, slipped cleverly below a contorted vocal. The melodic keyboard build from his last smash remains however, amplifying the track up the drop; then bodies bounce about the club. This isn't music to gaze out of a rain soaked window to, this is strictly one for the dancefloors. If this a sign of things to come from Dan Thompson and Elevation Audio, 2013 could be the start of a beautiful of friendship.
