RUSTY and JAN our so proud to present a new single “Daddy’s First Christmas”. This song was inspired by a family tradition where each member draws a name to determine who they will make a Christmas present for. In 1986, I drew my brother Richard’s name and wrote a song for him and his new son Richie. Thus the song was born. Ironically my wife and I were expecting that year as well. We want to celebrate the moment when a man becomes a father and the special season that he shares with his child and family. I remember it well as I reflect on the cover photo when I was a dad for the first time at Christmas with my daughter, Ann Louise.
